Shab to Fab...desk re-do's!

Over the past weekend I worked on a few re-do's!  This first desk was in bad, bad shape but all she needed was a good shower, a little make up, a little bling, and "TA-DA"...she is super-d-duper cute!!!  Katie love, loves it and is mad that I won't keep it for her "until she turns 16"!  (Really child?!)  Anyhoo, wouldn't it be an awesome vanity for a teens room paired with a big mirror  (I did see where Kate was going with it...however, she is 10)!!!  Did I mention my DH dumpster dove for this little treasure!  I know...how awesome is he?!!?
Look at my lovely, lovely roll of barbed wire in the back ground...isn't it beautiful?!  I have big plans for that!!!!
Do you think the previous owner was a child?  Can you spy Ronald McDonald?!  Yes?  You get 10 points!!!!  Oh I remember my sticker filled dresser as a kid - I so loved stickers! (Note to self...do NOT buy the girls stickers)!
Here she is in all her glory!

These next two re-dos were so F-U-N!  Katie actually picked out the green paint because anyone that knows me knows that I AM NOT A BRIGHTS GIRL!!!  I'M A PASTEL kind of GIRL!!!  Huge difference!  Bright colors make me freak so Kate saved my sanity and chose the green for me!  And she did a fantastic job as I don't think it could be any better!  I modged podged some cute paper onto the top and front side just for some added fun along with some chalk board paint!  If my girls were smaller, I would keep them, however they have chose to grow up without my permission, therefore, they must go -the desks not the girls!

Before:  Plain old Janes!  Nothing special that's for sure!
However they had good bones!  Just needed some added cuteness!

Some added cuteness! ; )
Isn't the green fun?  Kate did a great job!
How fun is the blue inside?!?

All three of these cuties are for sale at the Red Poppy!  If you haven't been there, you must go!  I also have more pieces, along with other treasures for sale and will be adding more weekly!
