Front Porch

Oh, how I love my large wrap-around front porch with its beautiful, white spindles and large, comfortable, chippy rocking chairs! I sit back, with a large nice glass of wine iced tea, feet up, watching the flowers grow.  Wait...I DON'T HAVE A FRONT PORCH????  OR CHIPPY ROCKING CHAIRS???  That's okay, its all good...I have wine!!!  Ha ha!  I don't have a great front porch, I actually only have a front step...but as they say, "accentuate what you have"!  Therefore, I dressed her up a bit!
Before... it was so sad!  I wanted to paint it black, which DH thought was a "bad" idea!  I also moved the big TWINS flag (it's new home is hanging from the garage), he also thought that was a "bad" idea!
I really LOVE, LUV, LA-UV my black door and DH admits he "likes" it - that's okay though because I know he secretly LOVES it too!  Love my wreath I made for it too!  =)
The girls admiring it!  (Really they are just eating ice cream, I just like to think they are admiring it!)
Hugs!

I'm linking up to Domestically Speakings' paint party, check out the awesomeness going on over there!

I'm back...again!!!

Finally!  Almost a month ago I switched to a new picture program/package...well since then, I couldn't get my pics to download!  What I needed was just to sit down and figure it out and just didn't have the time!  Well this morning I FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY figured it out.  The problem was definitely the lack of technical knowledge by the user confusing program!  But, I prevailed and now I have it all figured out for the moment therefore...I'm back...again!  So, my last post I left you with a couple of new projects I was doing....here they are!  Done and beautiful!!!
The little ugly brown desk is now a beautiful cream!  It has its original knobs on it too!  It is a darling little piece which I would love to keep but we don't have the room!  Her current home is at The Red Poppy, you can see some of the beautiful flowers arranged around her that are for sale there too!
Here is the homely looking chair!  I redid her in black and white and it looks so great with the black and white desk.  On top of the desk are some more items you'll find for sale at the Red Poppy!
Another little occasional table done in that lovely cream!
